Van der Plas Shipbuilding BV is a project development company in the maritime industry specialized in newbuilding and turn-key delivery of seagoing and short sea vessels up to 6,500 ton deadweight.

The strength of the company lies in the ability to deliver a high quality vessel at low costs. High quality is met by building not only according to international standards but also to our own developed shipbuilding standard in particular.

Our company co-operates with renowned Vietnamese Shipyards, with whom we have an extensive and long term relationship. Together with our own employed West-European and well trained local surveyors, the Shipyards and Van der Plas Shipbuilding deliver any vessel as per your demand.

Contracting, design, prefinance, equipment supply, transport, supervision, travelling and adopting local customs and mentality are matters taken care of by Van der Plas on behalf of our customer. Turn-key delivery is the result for small and middle sized shipowning companies, who prefer to stay focused on sailing their vessels and moving their cargo rather than looking after their newbuilding intensively.
